McMillans Wedding Weekend
With its spectacular views, sweeping lawns, manicured gardens and magestic river gums, McMillans provides a perfect setting for this most memorable of days. For larger-scale weddings that require the use of all our villas and cottages to accommodate guests, McMillans can bring its own special magic to the weekend.
We start with a welcome function held in our conference facility on the evening before the wedding to welcome family and friends and help renew old acquaintances. Local wines, beer, non-alcoholic refreshments, and a selection of cheese, crackers, and fruit will be served.
The following day, McMillans sets the scene for your wedding ceremony staged underneath one of our beautiful trees with picturesque Bancroft Bay in the background. Also in the background, set at the front of the property, will be a magnificent marquee that guests will walk down to for the wedding reception.
Beautifully decorated, the marquee provides a friendly and superbly convenient venue for the happy couple and their guests to celebrate, secure in the knowledge that their accommodation is just a short stroll away.
After the excitement of the previous night, the festivities continue Sunday morning in a definitely more low-key tone with McMillans recovery brunch! Enjoy the quiet of the morning and the wonderful memories of the wedding with a traditional brunch.
